My kids love playing with slime, especially themed slime recipes! So as we were planning some fun watermelon activity ideas for August I just knew we had to incorporate an epic watermelon slime! This red slime with seeds looks just like the inside of a juicy watermelon fruit. Plus this watermelon slime recipe has the best texture that sheets beautifully, is not too sticky, and is quick and easy to make. Watermelon Slime Recipe

All you need are a few simple materials to make this watermelon recipe for play:

  • 1/2 cup CLEAR Elmer’s glue
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.5-2.5 tablespoons contact lens solution
  • Pink and red food coloring
  • uncooked black beans or other black balls for seeds

Mix together the water, glue, and. food coloring until you get the color you’d like. Add the contact solution and baking soda.
