Magic Sand Recipe

To make the waterproof sand recipe, start by pouring a thin layer of colored sand in a disposable plate or container. Spray water repellant fabric protector on the colored sand until the sand becomes moist.

How to make hydrophobic sand

Use a plastic spoon to mix the colored sand. Apply another coat of water repellant fabric protector. Allow it to dry completely. Use the plastic spoon to stir the sand every few hours until completely dry.
