About the team  

As a key player in the Global Logistics Development team you will be part of driving and leading transformation projects within GANT Logistics. GANT is about to go through a major change over the next couple of years, shaping the future of Logistics to fulfil GANT’s overall strategy. You will be part of an agile and fast running team, developing strategies and/or implementing the next operational platform for GANT globally. These initiatives shall drive cost and service level improvements and reduce tied up capital.

You will report to the Global Director Logistics Development and work closely with the complete Logistics department in both large and small initiatives. The position is temporary between April 1st 2022 until March 31st 2023.  

Responsibilities

  • Project lead logistics development projects
  • Planning, coordinating and structuring projects
  • Running pre-studies, compiling business cases such as network studies, supplier evaluation and operational process improvements
  • Process definition, development and documentation
  • Reporting and system development initiatives
  • Tendering processes for transport and warehouse solutions
  • Analyzing product flows and/or processes within the logistics network
  • Supporting managers with decision making material and presentations

Your skills

  • Around 5 years of experience from Supply Chain Management / Logistics or Consultant with change project experience. Preferably experience from Consumer goods and or fashion industry
  • Master degree in Engineering and/or Economics preferably with a major in Supply Chain management/Logistics
  • Project lead capabilities together with good analytical skills to be able to execute pre-studies for fact-based decision making
  • Good knowledge, understanding and hands on experience of Supply Chain and Logistics processes and flows such as warehouse processes, transportation and logistics IT systems
  • Excellent knowledge in primarily MS Excel and the ability to prepare material for a management team level steering committee
  • Fluent English mandatory, Swedish preferable
  • Open minded and ready to walk the extra mile to achieve results. A high degree of social skills together with a structured mindset. Be able to coordinate big groups of people from different departments in the organization and complex projects
