Purpose

To work as part of the Facilities team ensuring the smooth running of the Front of House and Facilities services. To maintain the Front of House delivering excellent client service to external visitors and employees. Assist in maintaining the building fabrics and services to a high standard. The role will work alongside the Office and Properties managers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide meet and greet services as the face of the business
  • Manage the reception desk, couriers, and external calls
  • Manage meeting rooms and bookings including refreshments, lunches, flower / laurel arrangements, temporary furniture, supporting Press events and filming requirements
  • Audio visual support for meetings and staff as required
  • Daily checks of bathroom and kitchen facilities, replenishing supplies when required

Any other tasks as requested.

 

Support in:

  • Smooth running of the contracted building services and property maintenance
  • Basic maintenance works
  • Physical object moves with manual handling
  • Other office/ property tasks as directed by Office or Properties Managers

 

Skills and Experience Desired:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role with a strong standard of common sense
  • Hospitality or Corporate experience is advantageous
  • Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional people skills, with a focus on building rapport, listening, and asking the right questions
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge and understanding of how building systems work including boilers, water boosters, air-conditioning, heating, security, and fire systems
  • Able to manage multiple priorities whilst possessing an elevated level of discipline, professionalism, and flexibility
  • Able to carry out general maintenance to a good standard
  • Effective communication of technical issues
  • Ability to work in a team and on their own
  • Initiative-taking attitude
  • Solution minded
