About the Role

The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of 360-degree campaigns across channels including site, email, and in-store. This role will collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners including Design, Global Merchandising, Creative, Promo, Site and Email leads to ensure that marketing is implemented flawlessly. The primary objective of the role will be to support the brand strategy of the businesses while reinforcing Banana Republic Factory's brand positioning and mission to acquire and engage new and existing consumers, and drive sales across channels. Success in the role will be contingent on an ability to "story tell" to various audiences, leverage the brand's myriad of resources, a strong knowledge of both consumers and prospects, a passion for product details, and a thoughtful eye on the competitive landscape.

What You'll Do

  • Own all QA of promotional marketing communication across email, site & mobile with strong attention to detail to ensure flawless execution across all channels.
  • Support managing marketing calendars and help track promo change process with key business partners.
  • Work in close partnership with manager to brief the development of in-season creative and marketing concepts that can be executed across site and digital channels, in accordance with brand strategies, and to meet business goal objectives.
  • Assist in compiling data and metrics to help develop omni-channel communication plans and recaps of primary and secondary initiatives and campaigns
  • Provide support for packaging process by maintaining packaging library, managing weekly tracker, and partnering with legal and sustainability teams.
  • Owns updating marketing calendars and helps manage promo change process with key business partners.
  • Maintains database for tracking promotional activity on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Own all outlet communications and partnerships
  • Compiles weekly business analysis and owns sharing out to marketing team
  • Assists in data pulls for performance of key promotions and quarterly hindsights
  • Assist with strategy and execution to support third party partnerships


Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Background in online retail/fashion industry preferred
  • Detail-oriented with track record of flawless execution
  • Strong Excel Skills, experience in Omniture a plus
  • Positive attitude and ability to manage change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills - timely follow-up and ability to articulate objectives, strategies and tactics clearly across teams
  • Fluency with Excel and Powerpoint/Keynote required
