OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Analytics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all performance reporting for the marketing function by delivering reports, insights, and recommendations to the NAM marketing teams and leading a growing team of analysts. This role will be responsible for enabling marketing teams to get the most out of paid and owned media investments and understand their impacts, while balancing the need for higher-funnel branding activity alongside bottom-of-the-funnel performance media, associating the right KPI's and methodologies. The Marketing Analytics Manager will report into the Head of Insights for North America and assist with the growth of the team and influence in collaboration with the Global Marketing Insights team based in the UK.

Please note while we are currently offering a hybrid work model, all candidates must be either Denver based, or willing to relocate to Denver, CO. 100% Remote work and relocation assistance are not available for this role. You must also be legally able to work in the United States. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Define the most important KPIs and lead the design/building of all performance reporting, tools, and analysis for the North America marketing function (CRM, paid media, organic), partnering closely with the global marketing analytics team in the UK.
  • Ensure coverage of all marketing channels and activity, enabling the marketing team to understand their performance and impact within the marketing mix.
  • Lead a team of (up to four) analysts, focusing on their development and influence with key stakeholders across performance marketing groups.
  • Research and refine the approach to media attribution in line with Gymshark's go-to-market approach in North America, ultimately working towards true return on ad spend for as many marketing channels as possible, and optimizing channel and tactic mix accordingly.
  • Enable the execution of a test and learn approach across the Marketing team for all channels; scoping and designing tests, ensuring clean execution, reporting on performance, and ultimately driving business impact through improved decisions at scale.
  • Partner with the global data team on data processing and cleansing improvements to ensure the North American team has access to accurate and complete data sets, therefore ensuring you can provide the Marketing function with a complete view of their performance/impact.
  • Work with the customer insight team and wider marketing function to deliver an aligned customer targeting strategy, connecting all marketing activity to ensure customers receive the right message at the right time based on their preferences.
  • Work closely with the commercial analytics team, ensuing they have visibility of marketing performance and vice versa, enabling more connected strategies and tactics.
  • Work with wider insight team (North America and global) to forecast marketing channel performance (sessions, conversion, revenue etc.), identifying opportunities for more effective spend and targeting, in order to improve marketing efficiency, performance and relevance.
  • Influence and educate Marketing and other departments to drive data led initiatives (across Media, CRM, Commercial, Events, Customer Support etc.) as well as offer training and support on BI/Data.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Minimum 5 years+ experience working in a marketing analytics / marketing science role reporting on and optimizing paid and owned media.
  • At least 2 years of team management experience.
  • Experience of working with (including the manipulation of) large data sets to track and manage Marketing and CRM performance.
  • Knowledge of CRM (ESPs, CDPs, etc.) and paid media platforms (Facebook / Instagram, Google Ads, TikTok, DSPs, etc.) from a reporting and insights perspective.
  • An understanding of media performance metrics, and broader measures of attribution (e.g. cost-per-acquisition, ROAS, first vs. last touch attribution, etc.)
  • Advanced skills in analytics and visualization packages, including Google Analytics, Tableau, and Alteryx is desired
  • A problem solver and logical thinker, with the ability to see the bigger picture and get to the underlying business questions with the support of data led findings.
  • Engaging presentation and communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas to internal stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload for a growing analytics team to ensure on time deadlines.

This role has a salary range between $88,000-$104,000 annually depending on experience.
