We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our HR team at HUGO BOSS Nordic's head office in Copenhagen.

What you can expect:

As HR Advisor you will play an integral role in driving the HR agenda at HUGO BOSS Nordic. Supporting both the retail and head office function, you'll build strong relationships with managers and staff at all levels to provide pragmatic and business focused solutions and recommendations. Reporting to the HR manager you will drive best practice and ensure compliance with all company employment procedures, policies and employment legislation where your key Job Accountabilities will be:

  • Developing effective working relationships with Head Office, Retail Management & Area Managers
  • Serve as a link between management and employees, by handling questions, helping resolve work related problems using due diligence, advise managers on HR related issues & policies
  • Coaching and advising managers on performance issues and conflict resolution and support with resolving ER cases.
  • Conduct exit interviews and track the feedback with recommendations to the HR Manager
  • Driving the induction of new managers into the business, providing relevant training to support and guide them in their role
  • Drive recruitment activities primarily in retail
  • Supporting HR Manager where required with general HR administration and processes, talent management, succession planning and career meetings
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of employment legislation in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia to be able to advise managers and update policies and procedures where necessary and liaise with legal advisors in all countries when relevant.
  • Ensure that collective agreements in Sweden and Finland are always followed
  • Note taking in any employee relation matters including investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearing and performance management meetings as necessary
  • Maintaining the HR log of all employee relation cases and sharing on a weekly basis to the HR team
  • Management of the Probation process and assisting managers accordingly, as well as sending out relevant documentation to employees
  • Developing tools and templates in order to support the HR function and all areas of the business
  • Complete employee relations correspondence all to a high level of accuracy
  • Tracking and logging all Maternity and Paternity cases and working closely with the Payroll team to provide accurate and timely data
  • Drive the operational side of the business for excellence with new ideas and suggestions
  • Work on new HR projects with HR team and any other ad hoc duties


Your profile:

You are an ambitious and dedicated HR Advisor with solid experience within the broad HR field preferably from retail. Your great passion for people will support you and the team in transforming our HUGO BOSS employees into fans. Furthermore, you have a "get it done" attitude and take pride and ownership of the HR Processes.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, determined, and able to work as a self-motivated individual as well as part of a team. Strong organisational skills, exceptional accuracy, and attention to detail. To be successful in this role, it is important that you have:

  • Master in HR Management or Psychology
  • 2-3 years of experience within the broad HR field, from administration to legal and advisory
  • Previous HR Advisor experience
  • Proven track record in handling numerous ER cases end to end
  • Experience with performance management, conflict solutions and Union legislation cases
  • Up to date knowledge of Employment Legislation preferably in a Nordic context
  • Super user in the MS Office package and SAP HR or similar ERP system
  • Fluent and close to flawless in Danish and English in writing as well verbally
  • Previous experience within retail will be beneficial
