Getting to the Polynesian Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Disney's Polynesian Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
The Polynesian Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is at the lovely Polynesian Resort.  You can get here easily on the monorail from either Magic Kingdom, Epcot, or other resorts on the monorail.
Polynesian Resort
I highly suggest arriving early and enjoying this lovely resort. You can rent a boat, a double/quadruple bike, get a dole whip dessert, check out their shops, pin trade, explore the lovely grounds, and enjoy the white sand beach.

Spirit of Aloha Food

Your meal is served as soon as you sit down and will be brought out in courses as the show begins. (But don’t worry, this part of the show is hardly worth watching.) Your first platter will include salad with honey lime vinaigrette, pineapple, and two other cold salads along with pineapple-coconut bread.
Disney's Polynesian Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show Food Your dinner includes Island pulled pork, BBQ ribs, roasted chicken and Polynesian rice and vegetables. Dessert is pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce – which some people loved, I didn’t really care for it. But then again I don’t really care for bread pudding.  Included in your ticket are soft drinks, lemonade, and coffee.

Spirit of Aloha Show

Disney's Polynesian Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show Review
The 2 hour long show will entertain you while you eat for two table service credits on the Disney Dining Plan.
Disney's Polynesian Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show child participationThe first hour+, with the exception of the very small part where the kid are invited to participate, is a waste. The cheesy show is more like a want-a-be sitcom that never gets picked up. Honestly, I was toying with leaving after eating because the first part was just plain boring. But don’t leave!
Disney's Polynesian Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show DancersThe last 45 minutes of the show is truly wonderful. You will be mesmerized by the Polynesian dancing, the bright costumes, the variety of dances, and the exhilarating fire dancing.
